Govt defers plan to separate public prosecutor role from AG

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told the press on Wednesday that the Government has decided to set aside the plan to separate the functions of the public prosecutor from the Attorney-General as the Federal Constitution would have to be amended.
