The government is intensifying monitoring and enforcement efforts to keep essential goods prices stable amid cost-of-living and food supply concerns.
During a briefing on the Global Supply Crisis on Monday (May 25), Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said food prices between May 18 and 21 remained largely under control, fluctuating between -2% and 3.6%.
Akmal Nasrullah also reminded traders against unreasonable price hikes, while encouraging consumers to use the PriceCatcher app and the Supply Crisis Monitoring Dashboard to check prices and supply information.
