Giant pandas’ arrival a boon for Zoo Negara

The arrival of giant panda pair, Xing Xing and Liang Liang, has doubled the number of visitors to Zoo Negara since 2014.

Zoo Negara deputy president Rosly Ahmat Lana said the zoo’s visitors peaked from to 80 to 100,000 per month from 2014 to 2016, with total visitors exceeding a million people annually.
