GEG Bill: Parliamentary Select Committee to have first meeting next week, says Khairy

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Friday (Aug 12) said the Parliamentary Special Select Committee (PSCC) would have its first meeting to finetune the Control of Tobacco Products and Smoking Bill 2022 next week.

He added that the Bill, otherwise known as the tobacco generational end game (GEG), has been receiving good support from MPs from both sides of the divide.
