Full speech: Azmin addresses bumiputra congress

Here is the full speech delivered by Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali during the closing of the Future of the Bumiputra and Nation Congress held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Saturday. In his speech, Azmin spoke about a new law that is being studied to stop the practice of bumiputra companies selling contracts or Approved Permits (AP) to other parties. He also reiterated the Government’s pledge to continue to help bumiputras in the B40 group to move up to the middle-income group, increase their purchasing power and boost the country’s economy.
