Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull, who has been brought back from retirement to helm the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, told reporters on Tuesday that the 1MDB case is not a concocted story and he almost died when handling the case together with then MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed.
He said he was threatened to be fired, forced to go on early retirement, transferred to another unit and had bullets sent to his home.
