FT Ministry preparing plan to provide social safety net for urban poor

The Federal Territories Ministry is working with several ministries and private companies on a plan to provide a social safety net for the urban poor.

Its minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa said that after launching the free GoKL bus route between PPR Batu Muda and LRT Sentul on Friday (Aug 28), adding that the programme will encompass efforts to provide free school bus services, better medical care, groceries for lower prices and job opportunities, among others.
