FT minister: Public housing, PPR rent arrears now amounting to RM58m

Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said the amount of rent arrears of DBKL-owned People’s Housing Project (PPR) and Public Housing (PA) flats in the city now amounting to RM58 million.

Khalid told reporters that after launching the Wilayah Care Initiative programme on Sunday, adding that DBKL had pioneered the Career Carnival in a bid to help the PA and PPR tenants to help them find suitable jobs to settle their rent arrears.
