From an idle land into a DIY playground

60-year-old handyman, Tan Ching Swee decided to turn a piece of idle land which was previously the neighbourhood's dumping ground and converted it into a children's playground using discarded items.

The park known as DIY Playground in Jalan Syed Abdullah, Batu Pahat, Johor has become a tourist attraction as people from Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States have come to visit the place.
