Frequency of commercial vehicle inspection cannot be lowered, says Transport Ministry

The Transport Ministry cannot arbitrarily reduce the frequency of commercial vehicle inspections to protect the safety of road users, says deputy minister Datuk Hasbi Habibollah.

He said this in the Dewan Negara on Wednesday (June 21), when replying to a supplementary question by Senator Rita Sarimah Patrick Insol on lowering the frequency of commercial vehicle inspections to reduce the burden on smallholders.
