Free Komuter rides to Batu Caves for Thaipusam on Jan 31, Feb 1

KTMB will offer free Klang Valley Komuter rides on Jan 31 and Feb 1 in conjunction with Thaipusam, as authorities prepare for an estimated 2.5 million visitors to Batu Caves.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said Komuter services will run round-the-clock for four days and three nights from Jan 30 to Feb 2, with 609 trips planned — a 23% increase from last year — and passenger numbers expected to reach about 700,000.
An additional 216 Batu Caves–bound trips will be added, while 28 stations will operate 24 hours to assist vulnerable groups.
