Four charged with murdering former Mardi researcher

Four men have been charged with the murder of Mardi researcher Dr Wan Hassan Wan Embong who was killed in a robbery at his home in Bukit Bandaraya last month.

S.S. Vickneswaran, P. Kogilan, M. Ravindran and T. Sugu were jointly charged at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The four have were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries the death penalty upon conviction.
