Former Tabung Haji chairman, ex-Treasury sec-gen released from MACC remand

The former chairman of Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) and a former secretary-general of the Treasury were released from Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) remand on Tuesday (Sept 1) after being detained for seven days to assist investigations into issues related to the agency.

Bernama reported that the process of recording their statements had been completed by MACC investigating officers.
