In the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Dec 8), Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim pleaded to the government once again not to sell oil palm plantations belonging to Tabung Haji Plantations (THP) in Bintulu and Sibu, Sarawak.

The former TH chairman claimed to have documents that the government has approved the sale of the land for RM170 million, instead of its market value of RM224 million.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakr replied that no public announcement regarding the transaction had been made by THP.
