Forecast to be prepared in future to see how many teachers are really needed, says Khaled

A forecast of how many teachers are needed will be prepared to deal with any oversupply of graduates in the future, says Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

The Higher Education Minister said this on Sunday (May 28 ) when asked to comment on the National Union of Teaching Professions (NUTP) president Aminuddin Awang's statement informing of an influx of teaching graduates in the market, adding that the supply of teachers should not be limited only to public schools but should also include private and international schools and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) education centres.
