Floods: Water surge caused Hulu Langat incident, says Selangor MB

Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari told a press conference on Monday (Dec 27) that the floods in Hulu Langat were caused by a water surge from the surrounding mountains.

He said this in response to a statement by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob that the construction of the East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) was believed to be one of the causes of the mud floods in the area.
