A 82-year-old man’s attempt to save his 79-year-old wheelchair-bound wife failed when a fire broke out at their home at Kampung Losong Haji Su in Kuala Terengganu Monday morning.

The couple’s daughter said she received a frantic phone call from her mother screaming for help at 10.30am.
