Federal govt is committed to help Sarawak’s rural development, says PM

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Sarawak government had made several requests to the Federal Government to facilitate development in the state, especially in the rural areas.

Speaking to the press after visiting the Hospital Petra Jaya (HPJ) project site in Kuching on Saturday (Oct 23), he said among the concerns raised included roads to be upgraded and to upgrade dilapidated schools or to build new ones throughout Sarawak.
