Fatwa committee to discuss UAE astronomy centre's Raya date prediction

Religious Affairs Minister Datuk Mohd Na'im Mokhtar on Friday (April 7) said the National Fatwa Council committee will be meeting to discuss the prediction by the United Arab Emirates Astronomical Society that 1 Syawal will fall on April 21 to prevent a recurrence of last year's surprise Aidilfitri date.
