An explosion at a Bronx apartment building triggered a five-alarm fire on Wednesday (Aug 5), injuring 11 people and forcing 18 residents to evacuate.

Officials said seven civilians and four firefighters were treated for injuries, with two adults critically injured and a child receiving medical attention as a precaution.
