Explain delay over Najib's house arrest, says Takiyuddin

PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan has urged the government, particularly the Home Ministry, to explain why the house arrest arrangement for former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has not been implemented despite the RM50mil fine being paid.

On Transport Minister Anthony Loke's pledge to resign if Najib was allowed to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest, Takiyuddin said the promise should be honoured if the conditions were fulfilled.
