The appointment of 28 people to a panel of experts (POE) under the Local Government Development Ministry is to ensure government policies that are holistic, says Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.

The Deputy Minister said on Sunday (March 26) when asked to comment on whether or not the number of appointees was excessive, adding that the panel's input would add value to the government's initiatives.
