Expansion of contraflow lanes to curb traffic jams, says Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the Cabinet committee has agreed to a proposal by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall to establish a contraflow lane from the Sungai Besi toll plaza to the SMART Tunnel, as a measure to ease traffic congestion.

Meanwhile, Loke added that an open payment system allowing the use of credit and debit cards is to be implemented soon on public buses managed by Prasarana.
