EPF-guaranteed bank loans for those in bad financial standing, says PM

Putrajaya will introduce a new policy where those who are in dire financial straits will be able to use the funds in the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) as collateral for bank loans, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim while delivering his winding-up speech as the Finance Minister in Parliament on Thursday (March 9).
