Enforcement, monitoring for subsidised fuel misuse to focus on 170 'high-risk' petrol stations

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said enforcement on subsidised fuel leakage will be focused on about 170 high-risk border petrol stations out of more than 4,000 nationwide.
He said authorities will shift from blanket monitoring to a targeted, data-driven approach involving multiple agencies, including the Finance Ministry and Domestic Trade Ministry, with phased implementation and clear SOPs to improve efficiency and reduce manpower burden.
