Empower youths with knowledge to counter extremism, urges Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called for stronger efforts to educate and guide youths to prevent them from falling under the influence of extremist ideologies linked to the Islamic State (IS).

Speaking at the inauguration of Masjid Mengkuang Titi in Permatang Pauh, Penang, on Saturday (March 7), Anwar expressed concern over a small group of youths who were allegedly influenced by extremist propaganda associated with the militant group.
