Elmina plane crash: Childhood friend speaks fondly of pilot

Operations manager Nazir Hassan, 40, from Kuala Lumpur, who is a childhood friend of Captain Shahrul Kamal Roslan, remembered him as someone who loved to play football and always wore a smile on his face.

Nazir was a schoolmate of Shahrul Kamal at SMK Taman Melawati in Hulu Kelang, Gombak.
