Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek was among the thousands of parents eagerly awaiting their child's Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination results on Thursday.

Her daughter Thurayya Fadhilah Mohd Fadzli, from Sekolah Menengah Agama (SMA) Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), aced the exams with flying colours, scoring nine As and two B+s.
