Edi Rejang “no show” at Ampang Jaya Police HQ

The man who berated a beer promoter, Mohamad Edi Bin Mohamad Riyars, also known as Edi Rejang, did not turn up for a previously announced appointment at the Ampang Jaya police headquarters to have his statement taken.

DAP volunteer lawyer KA Ramu, who is supposed to assist Edi to have his statement recorded said Edi had met with the police on Wednesday without informing anyone.

Meanwhile, Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng on Thursday told Malay Mail that efforts to contact Edi has failed since the latter has kept his mobile phones off since yesterday.

Lim said he was trying to reach Edi to inform him of several employment offers for the latter after he was let go from his job as a dispatch rider following his controversy.
