Dzul: Health Ministry gets green light to raise on-call allowance; Raya performances voluntary

The Health Ministry has received approval to increase the On-Call Duty Allowance (ETAP) for healthcare workers, with an official announcement to be made soon, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday (April 24), Dr Dzulkefly also confirmed that the ministry has obtained approval for revisions to the fee schedule for private clinics and hospitals.
Responding to claims of a lavish Hari Raya celebration at the ministry, the Health Minister clarified that Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza performed under Yayasan Nurjiwa without payment, while Datuk Jamal Abdillah received only a small token.
