Dr Wee receives memo urging return of DAK following solidarity run

Efforts to bring home three Malaysian elephants currently housed in Japan have entered Parliament, with a memorandum urging government intervention handed to MCA president and Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong following a 290km awareness run from Taiping.
Dr Wee called for a task force to be set up to investigate the circumstances surrounding the elephants' transfer to Japan.
