Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (July 19) that officers from the Malaysian and Thai transport ministries would have more discussions on the planning, alignment and technical aspects of the proposed high-speed rail that connects Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

He added that as a mega project, the Transport Ministry has to look at the development of the project on a bigger scale, which is a link to the mainland of Asean.
