Dr Wee: Delays in repairing LRT escalators and lifts due to lack of parts

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has attributed the delays in repairing faulty LRT escalators and lifts to the lockdown that happened in Shanghai, China.

Dr Wee said this during the launch of the first phase of the MRT Putrajaya line on Thursday (June 16), adding that the maintenance culture does not only lie with the operator but also the commuters.
