Dr Noor Hisham squeezes in operating time amidst DG duties, calls it refreshing

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who has been giving daily briefings on Covid-19, says it's refreshing to be able to squeeze some time from his hectic schedule to perform a surgery.

Dr Noor Hisham, who is also a surgeon, shared on his Facebook account Friday morning that he performed a thyroidectomy for a patient with right dominant multinodular goitre.

The Health DG also said he was amazed by the frontliners’ ingenuity, strength and creativity and urged Malaysians to keep up the efforts in putting the Covid-19 pandemic to an end.
