Dr Mahathir defends pol-sec over role in Isa Samad’s bribery case

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has defended his political secretary Muhammad Zahid Md Arip, who was named in bribery charges against former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad, saying that “The accusations against him doesn’t mean that he is wrong.”

Dr Mahathir said that after attending a dialogue at the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) on Monday.
