Dr M's resignation as Bersatu chairman rejected, says sec-gen

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s resignation as Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman has been rejected by the party’s supreme council.

Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Marzuki Yahya said that after attending a special party meeting on Monday (Feb 24) night.

Top leaders from Bersatu such as Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusoff, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Datuk Marzuki Yahya, Dr Maszlee Malik, Datuk Seri Rina Harun are among those who gathered at the party headquarters at Yayasan Selangor building for the meeting.
