Double-tracking project benefits must reach communities along the line, says PM

The benefits of the newly completed Gemas–Johor Baru Electrified Double-Tracking Project (EDTP) must directly benefit communities living around its stations, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at the project’s official launch at the Kempas Baru station in Johor Baru on Thursday (Dec 11), Anwar said the EDTP would further strengthen Johor’s rapidly growing economic position.
He described the Gemas–Johor Baru EDTP as a landmark development model for both Johor and Malaysia.
