Discipline makes ex-athletes quality workers, says Ti

The private sector has been encouraged to provide employment opportunities to former national athletes to ensure they remain competitive in employment even after retiring from the world of sports.

Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker said that after witnessing a donation ceremony to two former athletes on Friday (Oct 28), adding that athletes are highly disciplined individuals and therefore, can excel in their respective fields.
