Disciplinary action against eight policemen for accepting pay-offs

Disciplinary action will be taken against eight police corporals who accepted pay-offs from other police personnel on the pretext of arranging their transfers.

"We detected their actions early last year after they were given RM5,000 to 'secure' transfer of police personnel.

"As it turned out, their ruse was exposed when the transfer did not go through," Bukit Aman Management Department director Comm Datuk Abd Rahim Jaafar told a press conference on Monday.
