Defaming religion, royalty on Facebook not a trivial matter, says minister

Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said netizens should refrain from defaming religion and royalty on social media as it is not a trivial matter.

He added that warnings over the matter had long been issued.

Police have arrested a 68-year-old man in Mentakab, Pahang to assist investigations into a case where the Prophet and his wife had been insulted on a Facebook account.
