Declining Covid-19 cases in M’sia led to firms aborting plans to include M’sia in vaccine trials

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said several companies from China had pulled out from taking part in human clinical trials for Covid-19 vaccines owing to a decline in cases in Malaysia.

He added that a new roadmap was needed for the development of human vaccines to ensure vaccine security and self-reliance for the nation in the future.
