Covid-19 Watch: Not a single education cluster resulted in a Category 4 or 5 infection, says Khairy

Not one Covid-19 case in the 190 active clusters linked to the education sector is in Category 4 or 5, and that showed that vaccinations were working when it came to reducing the number of severe Covid-19 infections, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

The Health Minister on Thursday (Feb 3) said so far, only 14 schools had to be closed due to Covid-19 and the ministry’s approach is to undergo risk assessment on any clusters discovered at schools, and that closing the affected school should only be a last resort.
