Covid-19 spike: 41 new cases, death toll remains at 121

Malaysia recorded 41 cases on Monday (June 15), taking the total number of infections in the country to 8,494.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that at the Health Ministry’s daily Covid-19 media briefing, adding that out of the 41 new cases, three were imported cases involving returning Malaysians who were infected abroad.

Dr Noor Hisham also said out of the 38 local transmission cases, six were Malaysians, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah at the Health Ministry’s daily Covid-19 media briefing.
