Covid-19: MCO to be extended? PM says NSC to decide

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday (March 23) said the National Security Council will meet before the movement control order (MCO) ends on March 31 to decide if the two-week enforcement period is sufficient or needs to be extended.

Speaking to the press after announcing four initiatives to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, he said reports from the police and armed forces on the ground showed improvements, with close to 90% of the people complying to the MCO.
