Covid-19: Gov’t to reduce ceiling price for face mask

In a televised announcement on Monday, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the ceiling price of RM2 for face masks is too high and will be reduced.

However, Ismail Sabri, who is also a Senior Minister, added that the new price will be decided after the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs discussed the issue with industry players.
