Covid-19: Fourth straight day of cases below 2,000, nine deaths, 2,345 discharged

Malaysia recorded 1,280 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (March 9), the fourth straight day daily cases dipped below the 2,000 mark, bringing total cases to 316,269, says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement on Tuesday (March 9) that the country also discharged 2,345 Covid-19 patients, while nine patients succumbed to the virus.
