Covid-19: Eight new clusters detected, two linked to clusters at construction sites in KL

Out of eight new clusters detected by the Health Ministry on Friday - two of them are related to construction sites around Kuala Lumpur.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that on Friday, adding that both new clusters were detected following Covid-19 screenings conducted on workers based at construction sites.

On the other six new clusters, Dr Noor Hisham said they were dubbed as the Bukit Dalam cluster (Kuala Lumpur, 13 cases), the Cempaka cluster (Johor, 10), the Sungai Cincin cluster (Perak, 15), the Huma cluster (Kelantan, 20), the Jalan Genting cluster (Pahang, 14) and the Atabara cluster (Pahang, five).
