Covid-19: 97.5% of teachers fully vaccinated as of Oct 31, says Deputy Minister

A total of 97.5 percent of teachers have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of Oct 31, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Wednesday (Nov 24).

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said that and when replying to a supplementary question by Sarikei MP Wong Ling Biu, Dr Mah said on the action to be taken against teachers who refuse (to take the vaccine), it is based on the instructions that will be issued by the PSD (Public Service Department).
