Covid-19: 2,847 new cases, five new clusters linked to education sector

The Health Ministry has announced 2,847 new Covid-19 cases in Malaysia on Friday (April 23), marking the ninth consecutive day that the number of cases remained above the 2,000 mark.

Eight more people died from the virus, while another 2,341 patients were discharged from treatment.

The ministry also said five out of eight new clusters on Friday were linked to the education sector.
