Malaysia recorded 15 cases on Monday (June 22), taking the total number of infections in the country to 8,587.

Of the 15 cases, two are imported cases involving Malaysians who were infected with the virus abroad, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah at the ministry’s Covid-19 press conference on Monday.

All of the 13 local transmission cases involved non-Malaysians, Dr Noor Hisham added.

Dr Noor Hisham announced no new deaths, which means the death toll remains at 121 cases.
